What I Wore...

It's the special day where I show you what I wore on each day of the week...except Wednesday...and Tuesday. Some things do not merit a photo. Especially ones that are broadcast to the world wide web.

What I Wore- June 17

What I Wore- June 21

A few things to note:

That Old Navy shirt from Saturday. I've had it for probably 5 years. That is the very first time I wore it. Sad. I never knew what to wear it with but I loved it so. I think I figured it out.

If I say it's from Target- it came home with a red tag on it. I am blind to anything there that's not on a clearance rack. And if you see something you like just wait a few weeks, it will be marked down.

Same with Ross. Their prices are fabulous to begin with, but just about everything I buy there is marked down in some way. I LOVE their selection of dresses. Keep that in mind if you are looking for something for a special occasion. And I hope and pray you have a Ross store in your town.

Don't be afraid of thrift stores. I know some women that are. The racks and racks of clothes can be quite intimidating to some, but remember it's all in fun and you just never know what you might find.

Way cute outfits! I think my favorite one may be the one with the 5 yr. old brand new Old Navy top. :)

Your shopping skills are spot on. I have not been to Ross but will check it out. I shop clearance at Marshalls and Target. Also thrift stores and yard sales. I never pay full price. You look great as always. ~olive~

Hi! I'm new here a love your blog and the idea of documenting what you wear! I'm a little afraid of that thought and what picture I would have, but it would be an incredibly fun challenge. Think I may have to commit.

Super cute! Love the top you didn't know how to wear...I buy things like that too and they sit in the closet until I figure it out!

Hugs!

Hello Daughter - Love all the outfits. I think you had shown most of them to me, but I had not seen them on you. With a figure like your Mom's how could you go wrong...you would look good in a potato sack...and by the way ladies...I looked liked that maybe 25 years ago. Now I look for things that do look like potato sacks to cover up all the "battle of the bulges". By the way...Bella Della could not help but be the thrifty person she is...after all "Me-Her Mom" got a refund back from the insurance company when she was born. How sweet is that a wonderful beautiful baby girl was given to us by God and bless her little heart then the added bonus of money. Didn't know babies came with a refund...seems we paid to much for her...maybe I had better go back and check her baby book...maybe she came with a rebate too and it is still good. What do you think...you with me...can't hurt to try. I hear you Baby Girl "My Mom...only my mom...got to love her though...don't ya"? HEHEHEHE!

luv,
BellaMomma

Fun! We have a Ross here but I have never been in it! I keep saying I need to get over there. It's close to Target, too. I haven't been in there in years. I think a good ol' shopping trip is in order.

Super cute as always!! You know I love me some Ross & Target! I always forget about Old Navy, will have to put that on my rotation too.

But the thrift stores ... so many ladies I love swear by them, but I'm still not sold. I like them in theory. I'm sure it's just a matter of time before I like them in reality too!

I love thrift stores too. It takes some time and digging but there are treasures in there. I agree with the Target red tag idea too. I wish it were cool enough here to wear jeans!

Okay bear with me as I am just now catching up on my blog reading. A few posts up you were talking about your thyroid and your hair thinning. You have a really, cool, funky style. Why don't you get your hair cut in a cool, funky short cut? I know that's probably scary for you to think about but you've got a really pretty face and you could pull it off. I promise.
