Old metal trays
Old metal colanders.
Old pottery.
Old aprons.
Old plates.
Old pillowcases.
Old linens of any kind.
Okay- anything old.
A few trips into my favorite stores last week yielded a fun little bounty of pillowcases and homemade placemats. A girl can never have too many of either, you know.

I look for milk glass candy dishes, old sheets, anything cute and old...I think we're looking for mostly the same things! LOL!

I look for an old book, candle holders, neat decorations and my favorite -kitchen stuff, whether is be bowls, dishes, vases. I have way to many!!!

Lately I have been looking for skelton keys but the ones I saw were to much for what they were asking for. Also frogs...where I live you just don't have that many thrift stores to choose from and find lots of great deals.

My parents had the sheets with the yellow flowers on them. Thanks for posting - it brought back childhood memories. I too, love to thrift linens.

I can never seem to find much at my Goodwill store, but that doesn't stop me from trying ;)
here's what i want: you to come shopping with me. i would LOVE to attend a shopping spree of yours. i think we live far away though.
I love all old things also...especially all things farmlike or things a farmwife like my Grandma's would have had back in the day! Come say hi.
I seem to love so many things but I always look for vintage clocks, old ironstone plates (found 2 today), vintage sewing notions and then anything else that catches my eye. I don't think we could shop together because we would be fighting over the same things.

I always look at the dishes first! Just love them and can't help myself. Also old glassware, vintage linens and any doo dad that gets my attention. Eclectic as most of us are.
You always find such fun things! I'm always on the look out for vintage tablecloths.

I wore my Goodwill pooh sweater to the dentist's this morning, only one person was not impressed, she said she buys high-end clothes now. Okay I said. To each his own.
I'm looking now for a stand mixer, preferable greenish, and one that actually works would be nice. Love to find old books and buttons and old scrapbooks. Like you say, anything old.
