"Green how I want you green. Green wind. Green branches."
--Federico García Lorca
When I am outside surrounded by the beautiful snow (which I adore) I can't help but look up into the naked branches and think a few green thoughts. I think about open windows and the song of the wind. Of tree frogs and blue birds. Of shade and shelter.
Mmmm.

Ah yes. We are seeing lots of signs of Spring here in California.
Especially since all the rain we have had.
The wildflowers will be covering everything from here to San Diego by Spring. I love California this time of year. The mountains are white with snow and the valley and hills are a brilliant green just like your show in your photo's. It was 67 degree's today...and gorgeous!
Your Spring is on it's way...:)

Just around the corner... spring is just around the corner. Love these pictures. Have a blessed day!
I so don't want to admit that I'm missing green, but I did pick up a fresh basil plant at the grocery store, and I can't keep my face out of it. There was so much I wanted to accomplish this winter.........
I can't believe what a comfort it is to stare at that green. I'm in a trance. It's so pretty! Thanks so much for posting it. :)
oh that looks glorious. can't wait for spring. but unlike you - i am sick of the snow.
Dappled light through green leaves is one of my absolute favorite things in the whole world. Sigh...hurry Spring. Your pictures are so pretty.

Oh, send some green to me! Please? I could stare at those photos all through the snowy night!
