Thrifting makes me smile...

I finally made it by my favorite little thrift store on Friday. I didn't come home with a huge haul but it was definitely worth the trip.

I found a beautiful old piece of turquoise pottery.

An old colander...

A green metal kettle. I seem to be finding a lot of old metal kettles lately.

And a wonderful set on old glasses...

Everything seems to be smiling out in the Fall sunshine. And of course I am smiling with my new treasures. What are you smiling about these days?

Gorgeous finds! Horrible weather here. Dreary and gray for four days now with highs in the 40's with a 30-something wind chill. Brrrr...winter in definitely on the way >:(

I especially liked the little glasses, I'm trying to remember if they came in oats or with some kind of cheese in them. They are perfect for juice, mine have all gone to the memory file. Nice post, great pottery too.

Great finds, I recognize I think those pretty glasses. They might have had cheese spread in them at one time.
