Our farmhouse kitchen...

It's the heart of any farmhouse.

And this kitchen has my heart, indeed. Although I have a long wish list for things like wood floors (like the rest of house) and paint and the removal of the wallpaper border and open shelves for all my treasures and dishes- it works just fine for now. And one day we will have all those things.
Stay tuned tomorrow for more.

I love the color scheme!!! It is so bright and cheery, just like you!!!

Yes, on the open shelves. I have always wanted those or to make little curtains for the cabinets with ruffles.

Your photos are awesome, by the way...love how the light plays off the walls.

I do love your kitchen so much, I wish I had a bigger kitchen so I could decorate like that. I have been debating painting my chairs red, but afraid it would be too much, now I am inspired to do it...
great photos...

I love your kitchen. So cozy and the color scheme is so perfect. I see those vintage aprons folded up and displayed on the cake stand. How cute is that? A punch of color.

You make me envious, for sure. I have so many great antiques but I don't know how to display them. I need one of those designers they have on HGTV. LOL

I spy so many things I love and that are close to my heart! You have the most magnificent kitchen. Just like a farm should have. Looks like it was made for the menfolk to come in at lunchtime for a big cooked meal!
