Take a stand...

And a can of red spray paint. I just happened to have some. I found this interesting little piece in the Goodwill the other day. Luckily it didn't give me the usual Goodwill sticker shock. It was $4.25.

Ten minutes and 2 coats of paint later...

I think I am going to use some different flower pots with it, perhaps just some standard clay pots. What do you think? Maybe it will look better once those seeds take off. There are teeny weeny little sprouts in each of those pots...daisies.

And I know...I said we were going inside today. Sorry, I tend to spend my after work hours soaking in the last hours of daylight. Soon.

What an awesome transformation! I love it. I am still planning on taking the farm hostage one day soon! After I am done with these three hour naps!

The stand turned out great. I think I'd get pots and paint them blue and white, then your ensemble would be red, white, and blue.

That is so cool and quirky - I love it!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets sticker shock from Good Will - which is why I now go to the Salvation Army!

Don't apologize for not wanting to go inside! We all do it. Nature is fascinating and flowers especially. Your little find looks great red. I'm glad I'm not the only one to find "sticker shock" when I go in Goodwill. I end up buying more at my favorite consignment shop. Seems they're cheaper.

Wait, you have red spray paint? : )

I'm going to send you a picture of a table I got FOR FREE! I'm thinking of antiquing the table white and painting the chairs a granny smith apple green or maybe a white washed turquoise? I'll send it to you this weekend though because right now the table is in the garage covered with um ... LOTS OF DUST.
