Snowball fight...

The limbs of my snowball bush are fighting to hold up these favorite blooms of mine. I have loved these since I was little. When they bloomed last year during our first Spring on the little farm, I was so delighted.

I wish I could send each of you a huge bouquet in some wonderful vintage vase- or even an old mason jar. Close your eyes and pretend I did.

What a gorgeous bush and beautiful blooms this year...probably from all the rain!

I bet it smells incredible.

Thanks for my virtual floral bouquet and I love the vase.

What gorgeous pictures!!! Our snowball has yet to bloom out here in the west. Although we have had snow in the foothills!
Love your blog. Flowers, bargains, old stuff. Mmmmmmm.

Such a pretty bush.. I may have to sneak out there and snip some from it's branches.

I have an old blue mason jar that I'm imagining holding those fabulous flowers...on my table!

Ah! Snowballs! My brother and I used to have snowball fights with these flowers at my grandparents' house. The lawn would end up sprinkled with white petals. What fun memories. And I have to say, your blog made me smile for another reason this morning. My grandmother's twin sister's name was Della Bella. I guess I was destined to land here. :)

I know! I am loving this springtime immensely. I've got peonies and iris and bachelor's button starting to bloom. It seems like just yesterday I was complaining about the endless cold winter on my blog :)

I love your snowball bush! Both my Grandmas had them in their yards. It's on my list of things to plant in our backyard someday.

I so will pretend! I don't have that plant and I am so jealous! It is beautiful and feminine and so lush. I just put my pretend vase of pretend flowers from you on the table. And Bonnie the cat is eating the flowers, as usual...
