Snow place like home...

I woke up this morning to a beautiful, heavy, wet snow.

Unfortunately it will be gone by the time I get home, but I enjoyed it while it was here- or while I was there. It was so hard to come to work this morning.

I felt like a little kid putting on my boots to walk around and take pictures. And again I didn't want to come to work but stay home and play.

After all, the schools were on a two hour delay- shouldn't I be?

The roads were slushy and the trees arched over like a Winter Wonderland tunnel.

I will spend the day daydreaming of snow and comfort and wintertime favorites. There is no place like home on a day like today...snow place like home.

Nice post.

We didn't get as much as you, but it was nice to get some anyway. Maybe it will hang around until you get home.

While it's pretty to look at, I can't help but be glad I don't have to deal with snow. I'm a warm blood and that is just way to cold for me, lol! It's going to be 82 here today. Now, this is what I call winter :0)

I love the look of fresh snow, but am glad that it is no longer here. I think I would love to see it twice a year for a day or two.

I love you photo's! Makes me want to make some hot cocoa and sit on the couch staring out the window!!!!

Wait, wait, wait. You have to go to WORK when it snows? I hope your work is across the street and you don't have to DRIVE ... just the thought makes SSG shudder.

it looks so pretty at the farm. i love a fresh fallen snow, as long as it's in the months of december, january or first half of february, after that, it makes me cranky. how long did it last?
