Reflections...

I seem to be having one of those weeks where the mundane has taken over and I don't have any great reflections of my life to share with you.

My days seem to look like this-
Wake up.
Drive to work.
Work.
Drive home from work.
Eat.
Putz around and lay on couch.
Go to bed.

Now, of course I realize that all of our days and weeks are mostly composed of the mundane. And that is OK. I've been trying to make myself relax at night when I get home instead of rearranging and cleaning and sitting at the computer. I've been laying on the couch cozied up with the animals. Quilts and purring are perfect for the soul.

I've been climbing into bed around 9pm. I haven't been racing to do laundry or sweeping every last morsel from the floor. I guess I am resting. Perhaps that seems strange to me. I've always prided myself on being a very, very good vedger but maybe I forgot how to do that.

Maybe I am actually taking some time to reflect on things and I don't even realize it. Maybe after a week like this I will be energized and ready to jump back into blogging and projects and all sorts of things. Maybe autopilot is okay for a bit.

I am looking forward to sunshine and warm weather this weekend. I am looking forward to family and Fella time.

I wish you warmth and happiness on this COLD Winter day. If you need me I'll be somewhere in the midst of that list above, happily floating through my day- reflecting...

GM Bella!
While the days seem mundane, I know they're a gift and as you say, perhaps it is a time where you are reflecting and taking time to enjoy the "little things" and down time. Perhaps you are just "re-charging".
Enjoy your day!

I hope you get lots of rest. After the big ice storm, and getting the flu, I'm ready to get back into the mundane. :)

Bring on the warm weather. I've been freezing my butt off the last two days.

I believe that the cold weather forces our bodies into hibernation mode. That would explain why I have been feeling like a SLUG lately:/ The warm weekend weather can't get here fast enough!

i think it is like they said...when a battery is charging you can't tell anything about it...it is just setting there...but when the light comes on "it's full"....it is ready to take off.
on your drive home with all the leaves off the trees look for something you have not seen before...keep your camera with you and maybe you will get to take the picture of the lifetime.
your body will know when it has rested enough.....is that a entry way you took a picture of...it is very pretty.

i think this is the time of year for this to set in. a little calm before we get spring fever and spring into action. it's ok to be restful and a bit lazy. it won't last long so enjoy it!!

I think it's good you're RELAXING. Keep it goin' sister.

And OHMAHGAH NO!!! I don't think Quiet Guy has a crush on SSG, I just think he likes to eat and drink ... I was just surprised he wants to spend an evening with us. I thought he couldn't stand me. I'm sure I'll have some stories to tell!

I've been feeling extrememly "mundane" lately too. I really think the time of year has something to do with it. You kept your post quite upbeat, but it's really awful, this time of year, I think. Green grass...come on down!!

Oh hurry Spring, we need it, don't we? It is rainy and cold here today and I am dreaming of sandals and a tan. I may have to light a summer scented candle to get me through. TGIF :)
