Saturday sunset...

It's the end of a beautiful August day here at the little farm...

Another nice cool evening, not at all what one expects from the first week of August. We have the windows open and all the night sounds are pouring in. It's time to crawl into bed and curl up under the fan and rest. Tomorrow we are off to ride coasters and eat junk food. We are big amusement park fans. Tomorrow is Kings Dominion in Ashland, Virginia, but our heart belongs to Busch Gardens in Williamsburg.

I hope everyone has had a wonderful Saturday and saw a beautiful sunset. Goodnight and sweet dreams...

Hi Kim!!! Hope you are having a blast riding the rides and eating the yummy junk food! Fall is here at least for the day! We had a storm front blow in from Canada yesterday and it is cold, windy and cloudy today! Very strange for August 10th! Last night we heard the crickets for the first time! Fall is indeed on the way!
Hugs!

Did you have corn dogs, elephant ears and lemonade? I MISS going to Magic Mountain and Disneyland like we did when we were kids. The Northwest doesn't have ANY amusement parks! Someone needs to get on that.
