From the archives...

It's getting dark. I just came inside from turning the lights on at the store. One of us has to walk over each evening to flick the front lights on over there. I love the way it looks all lit up. I was going to take some pictures but once again my camera is dead. It ate another set of batteries and I even take them out when I am not using them. Note to self, stock up!

This means another trip to the photo archives, also known as my husband's photos. He took these back in the winter, January I think. It's amazing how different it looks to me. It's not just the summertime changes...I think it's because it is more ours now. I am also reminded that fall and winter are just around the corner. I have to admit- I can't wait for cold weather!

Don't you just love our neighbor's house down the way? I do. I am hoping to catch them over there soon so I can take a tour. It's empty right now because they are doing a major renovation on it. Here's hoping they head over here next!

Can you guys adopt me? I mean YES, I know I'm older than you, but STILL. I love your sweet home and its rolling hills and open spaces. I can see why you had to have it!

What a pretty setting for your home. MY DH would look at that and say NO WAY and I'd be saying OH YES!! No quaint and rural. Not many of those properties left in my town. The last farm just sold for several million.

Thanks for stopping by!
