Blessings...

It's been one of those days. I feel like I have not taken a breath all day long. But it's important to breathe and recognize the good things in life. I find the smallest things can just make your whole day. Today, I was blessed by the tomato fairy- also known as- Mr. and Mrs. McCloda, our sweet next door neighbors. These sweet orangy-red tomatoes were waiting for me when I pulled into the driveway this evening. It made me smile so big. I only wish I had been home to say thank you. I will return the favor this weekend, perhaps with fresh baked chocolate chip cookies.

Also, I received two wonderful e-mails today from my dear friend Floyd. He and his wife Susan are awaiting the birth of their second child. I am thinking about them tonight and hope perhaps by morning there will be news...and a name. So many blessings.

I also have a tomato fairy. My next door neighbor John, who is a crotchey old man, but does bless me with tomatoes. He starts them super early the spring (protects them with a water wall contraption), so his tomatoes are WAY earlier than mine. I love that he shares them with me tho...usually he just shares some negative comment about life!

What a lovely place you have!! I would love to live in the country like this! I will definitely be back to visit to see what you do with the place. I enjoyed viewing your wedding photos. I too have only been remarried about a year now. It's great to be happily married!
