Amnesia

I think I need to just get on here and write before I forget how. It seems my Christmas amnesia exploded into all out blog amnesia.

All the Christmas decorations are put away...just yesterday, actually.

And as I sit here I still have no idea what to write about.
No pictures to show you.

The truth is I'm busy.

I work in a very small office and back in November we went from four to three. I won't lie- it's something I sort of wished for. I wished for it in the way that I needed more. More to do. More challenge. My long dormant ambition needed a spark. I've known that for a long time.

Careful what you wish for.

I'm busy. Extra work. Extra hours. Extra stress.
I forgot what all that was like. Another amnesia of sorts.
But you know what...I forgot how good it felt.
And I forgot how good this felt.
Back soon, friends.

Glad to know you are still alive. Hope to see more from you soon.

I know for me the longer I go between blog post the harder it is to get back to it. I can't even remember what I have blogged about and what I haven't.

Enjoy your life and blog when you can.

Being busy is a good thing, and something I can relate to right now! We'll be here when things slow down and when inspiration hits you square on the forehead!

Sometimes life moves beyond blogging and that's just the way it is. At least you have plenty of work!

Welcome back my beautiful girl, My Daughter...I am so glad to see that you are out of your Christmas amnesia
and you are just now in a state of amnesia. I know that I told you to calm down and relax and you told me that is easy for you to say. I can honestly tell you as you so well know, I, your mom, would be the same way. I know you are excited, nervous, maybe feeling a little overwhelmed, but you know the finally outcome. You will take on these new/not so new responsibilities and you will be an overwhelming success as you always have been. A little about my daughter...very organized, works best when she works alone/but does work well when working with others (make sense). She is a country girl
through and through, but she can rub elbows and be at her best with the best of them...meaning people who have high positions and think they are far more important than they really are. She cleans up like a princess and when she enters a room she doesn't go unnoticed. She will be busy, leaving home way earlier than she is used to and getting home much later than she would like. She is a creature of habit and having to deviate from her daily routine, in itself is enough to cause her stress. She will not be staying in her office all day, but will be going back and forth between her office and the Capital (Richmond). She will also be eating some good food. What she does never goes to her head and makes it bigger, just because of the people she is around, but I give her permission to let it get big for recognition of many jobs well done. I can say all these things, because I am her mom and I am darn proud of her. I hate it when I hear parents apologizing for talking about and praising a child for doing well, having won an award, having hit 3 home runs in one game and performing well at their dance recital. If only more children received praise every day...just think how many happy children we would have in the world. Your Dad and I are here for you during this transition at work.
You go girl...do what you do best...you are a beautiful successful young woman.

Love from your Mom and Dad

Your parents sound so proud and supportive! :)
You are not the only one that gets blog block! I have it a lot and do very short posts. It works for me...
Beside..people are so busy and sometimes in a rush when they visit, that I think they don't always read it all when you write a lot.
:) Now I could be wrong about that..but...I sometimes wonder..don't you?
Hugs,
Mona
