Scary beautiful

I'm afraid of spiders.
I'd like to think that in turn, spiders are very afraid of me.
And my shoes. You know, the last thing they generally see.
I'd like to think that word gets around.

They scare me.
And the fact I find these photos so beautiful-
VERY SCARY.

Her legs remind me of candy corn.

By the way, this is the place where you should figure out that there are a bunch of spider photos below. And a really pretty web. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Happy Halloween!
I hope it's scary beautiful.

Isn't it amazing that one spider can work so hard to make something so beautiful? It's odd how no other spider teaches them how to do it either, they just know.

Amazing. And creepy ; )

Kim, the web is amazing and gorgeous but I would FREAK out if I walked through it. Our old house it filled with wolf spiders and i abhor them. I vacumn all the time and Joe will not call in a pest control guy as he thinks they are just fine because they kill insects. Happy Halloweeen!!!

Oh Sweetie...
How beautiful this share is today. I love the webs beauty and the spider is quite colorful, but I am like you I do not like spiders at all. They scare me horribly. (I grab the closest shoe and smack really hard.)

The beauty of this web is breath taking though, and think of the time it took this spider to get it all done. I loved the story Charlotte's Web, that spider I loved.

Thank you for the gorgeous share this morning. I have so enjoyed my stroll with you. Many hugs and so much love, Sherry

Very brave, very brave! I am TERRIFIED of spiders! I can hardly even kill them because I am afraid of them getting me. I scream like a baby while killing them...ICK ICK ICK!!!

Let's just hope they stay outside as the weather gets colder!

Have a wonderful weekend!!!
Hugs!

Wow! These are great.
Now that you have the photos, are you gonna get rid of the web?!

This post makes me think of that Jim Stafford song, "I don't like spiders and snakes, and that ain't what it takes to love me, you fool. you fool." It was about a boy who would try to get a girl's attention by trying to scare her with creepy-crawly things. Maybe the boy knew that spiders could create webs even more beautiful than silver and gold and diamonds. Thanks for these amazing photos.

Wanted to let you know that this Saturday (Nov 13th) I'll be at Borders in Glen Allen, Va from 1-3. 9750 W Broad

I'd love to meet you - and invite everyone you know because I don't know anyone in that area.

I love spiders and spiderwebs. Especially fruit spiders. They are so colorful and there webs are works of art. Now if they come inside? Different story altogether.
