Monday morning

It's Monday morning and I'm stuck at my desk. I left behind the sunshine and cool breeze and as I passed the carporch on my way out this morning this called my name...

I'd much rather be there. At home.
Tell me- where you would like to be?

I would love to be in the country sitting on my daddy's porch with a glass of iced tea!

Anywhere that I have not seen in this great USA.

I can relate, this is the first day home for me in months. I am soaking in the beautiful fall air as I catch up on neglected chores and projects. For today, I am right where I want to be. Wishing you could be too!

On my front porch in the country with a good book and my camera. Not in this stuffy office building, surrounded by construction and the general noise of the city. Retirement can't come soon enough!

Ooh I love your wicker settee and that gorgeous pillow! I'm pretty happy where I am, but I would rather be done with my latest story so that I could relax a little more!

I hope the day goes swiftly so that you can hurry home to your comfy porch!

I am happy right here in my yellow house in my favorite chair with my cat at my side. My sweetie will be here later so I must start cooking for a lovely supper soon. olive♥

Nowhere I would rather be than home, hmmmm perhaps with the sand in my toes at the beach would be nice!

Have a blessed evening! HUGS!

I like being busy at school during the day. It makes staying home on the weekend even more sweet.
I love this fabric.

i have a busy week too. i'd like to be on our back porch swing which over looks the hills behind our house. i'd like to have my guitar in my hands, and worship on my lips.

For me, home IS my work ... but there is no sitting in my future. There is too much to do in the rose garden, getting ready for visitors when I reopen on Saturday. I'll reward myself with a sit on the porch, and perhaps a brew, after a good day of hard work. Now that I think about it, I wish I could skip right to the porch/brew scenario ... but it wouldn't feel as good without the 'work' part of the day completed. ...sigh...
