What I Wore- Wedding Edition

Today is our three year wedding anniversary. I thought it would be fun to mix that with What I Wore Wednesday.

We were married on July 7, 2007 at 7pm. The wedding took place at an old plantation home/bed & breakfast. Our family stayed there with us the entire weekend. What we didn't know- we would soon buy a little farm just down the road.

It was a total do-it-yourself affair and of course I was thrifty~

Dress- Ebay. It's Jessica McClintock and I paid $80.
Shoes- Ebay. Notice they are red.
Red sash- David's Bridal. $20.
Red ruby costume jewelry pin in hair- free.
Flower girl dresses- department store clearance.

Happy Anniversary to my Fella. I love you.

You look beautiful. This is so much better than some of the pretentious weddings I've been to. I have one question - how did you get the pictures black and white, yet the red sash/tie/lipstic shows up?

Beautiful! Jessica McClintock is one of my favorites - I bought all of her dresses for my sorority formals in college. :) Those flower girl dresses are super cute too. Congrats on your Anniversary!

Beautiful photos!! Love your gown!.. This is my first week participating in WIWW, and I think my favorite picture you have here, I must confess, is the last one! I can appreciate a fan like THIS, more than any other day I can remember!!! We are reaching mid-nineties, but with the dewpoint/humidity, it feels more like 105 degrees! We are SO-ooo not used to that around here!.. Well, Happy Anniversary and best wishes to you both!! ~tina

Happy Anniversary!! I agree with Kat ... an outdoor wedding in July?! You are one brave woman! You and your photos are both lovely.

P.S. You don't want to know what I wore today ... outdoor work, it's 100+ degrees ... it's not pretty.

Gorgeous! I love the thriftiness and the individual-ness (is that a word?) of the whole ensemble. Everyone looked so good and hopefully the money you saved went on a nice honeymoon or a good bottle of champagne! Congratulations!
