Sorry, that was bad. But we have no air conditioning. And considering I've lost my sense of humor, that joke ain't too bad.
It's been gone since Friday. I'm hot, I'm withered, and frankly, mean. Oh- did I mention it's been in the upper 90's all weekend? No? Oh, it has been. And if you don't live in or have never visited the South- well, we have this annoying little thing called humidity.
We spent most of yesterday (after that lovely scene on the carporch) finding places that did have air conditioning.
We successfully went to the movies and saw the A-Team. Two thumbs up. Note to you ladies- Bradley Cooper places a character called Face. But I spent most of the time looking him anywhere but in the eyes. Hot. The sort of heat I didn't mind.
Anywho.
We will return to normally scheduled programming after I get both my air and sanity back.
Hope you have a cool (and I mean that in every sense of the word) Monday.
PS- Repair dude is coming at 9am tomorrow.

I'm so sorry!! I'm in Texas and I feel your pain. In fact I had several conversation this weekend with random folks on the topic of what in the world would we do if we didn't have AC? I for one would be most unpleasant to be around. I cannot take the heat at all and will more than likely spend most of the summer in the house. Hope it's a quick, inexpensive repair!!!
Oh gosh, that's awful! I hope they can fix it fast tomorrow!

you poor thing. we aren't too hot here yet. can't seem to get rid of the rain. bradley cooper is hot!!! i would have a hard time NOT looking into his eyes. they are gorgeous!
Poor you. At least you found some cool places. :) We haven't had air-conditioning since we've been together. We had been living in an attic apartment. Horrible. In March we moved into a basement apartment. It doesn't have air conditioning either but to us, it feels like it does.
We have been in the upper 90's here this week. Horribly hot. We had to replace our air cond. last summer.
Oh no! I hope you got your AC back up and running! We just had our unit looked at because it was not working well at all! A little freon later and we're nice and chilly! Hope your "dude" came today and fixed yours!

This is terrible, TERRIBLE news. I'm so sorry you're having to endure this. Heat is my worst enemy. It does make for phenomenal crankiness.
How did they EVER....do without air conditioning, back in the day? And they wore lots of heavy clothing too. UCK.
