I had to stop and smell the roses

Okay, so I've been running around like a chicken with it's head cut off. And yesterday was one of those Mondays that ranks quite high on my Monday Hall of Fame. Let's just say it started with cat throw up and peaked with a dead bird inside my wall at work. And don't get me started on the ants.

A Monday through and through.
And I laughed all the way.
That's the only way.
But still I seemed to be on fastforward.
Out of breath.

I was still running around at 8 o'clock last night- filling my bird feeders and watering flowers when these stopped me in my tracks.

Rose

Rose 3

Rose 2

I literally had to stop and smell the roses. And today I have slowed down. I've taken one big deep breath for the week.

I bet some of you are running around like chickens too. Take a moment with me. And a deep breath. And a happy sigh.

How beautiful. And a wonderful reminder for all of us to stop and enjoy all the beauty that surrounds us.
