The photos might make you think it was a quiet weekend around the little farm. It was not.
Saturday- Roller coaster rides at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. And maybe a couple of log rides. Note- it was not warm. Note- I'll do anything for the Fella. Wet jeans are not fun.
And remember the new Converse? No one told me that every single teen in this area has them. Red, black, turquoise, pink. No one had the grey ones. I didn't know I was so stylish- or so old.
Sunday- You know those Sundays where you swear you are just going to read the paper and then lounge in bed for the duration of the day? And then suddenly you can't find the paper because you have taken EVERYTHING out of your pantry. And then you can't find the guest bed because you piled all your Winter clothes there for their annual trip to the attic. And you have 10 loads of laundry going. Yep. That was Sunday.
Good thing Monday and work arrived- I needed some rest!
And so, while all that goes on in my self-imposed busy life, Spring is here. The flowers are blooming and everything is getting so green. 80 is predicted here for the weekend....when I will do all of that- all over again. Including the roller coasters but minus the pantry- I finished that.

Hilarious about your Sunday. We leave Friday for a trip to the gulf coast to visit friends. And we're driving. Gah!!
Isn't it funny how our "down" time can become anything but?! Glad you had a wonderful weekend, wet jeans, torn apart pantry, and all! Love the photos as always!
Kat :)
You wear those Converse proudly! Age is just a number on your birth certificate, nothing more! I think you should get them in red too! I myself would love a purple pair...how much fun! :)
Very envious of the 80 degrees coming your way. I live in California and it's going to rain here all week. We just had a teaser spring week at 73 degrees or so. Love the photos!
Sundays can sure turn crazy.
My husband used to say on Sunday- 'now don't get all stirred up'.
We do what we need to do, right?
I enjoyed visiting so much!
I'll be back-

Oh yes. I start one thing and it ends up turning into another. I have a hard time trying to remember what I started out doing anymore!

Sounds like a typical day in my life! The important thing is... spring is here! Happy Easter!
