Outside my window

I love laying in my guest bed, looking out the old window into the big blue sky. It's one of two windows original to the house. That makes it a special view. And today things are looking up.

And when you are looking up you can forget about this for a moment. This is what tomorrow will look like.

There seems to be a little pattern shaping up over my little part of Virginia. More snow. But Spring will be here soon. I daydream of that a little.

There is just something about seeing the little farm wake up from its long Winter's nap...but there is something about seeing it tenderly tucked in under a blanket of snow too.

What's going on outside your window today?

Beautiful post, as was the last one. Love your window. Right now, I am watching a family of eagels that have discovered a deer that the coyotes took down in our field, about 10yds from my kitchen window. Eerie feeling, yet its amazing to watch the Eagels as they teach the young ones. Stay warm!

More sleet, ice and snow on the way tomorrow and Saturday... Good thing you have that lovely colored glass in your window to lift your spirits. I'm ready for spring!

I heard that robins were spotted, just outside of Chicago, today...I HOPE that means spring is on the way BUT for tomorrow it means 1-3 inches of snow and blowing winds :-/ UGH!!!

Your window...is beautiful...a beautiful escape!

We actually have had a winter this year and I am glad for a change...in georgia it usually is not this cold but it has been pretty much the whole winter which is an added change.

Rainy day here and it's coming your way.

Enjoy your weekend!
