The one constant is change...

I think like most of us... I am not a big fan of change. The one exception to this is the change of the seasons.

And the most beautiful of those changes is the transition from Summer to Fall. And it seems that overnight Mother Nature cast her spell over my little part of Virginia. It's magical.

Our little tree in the backyard is glowing. I wish it would just stay that way until the Spring. See, I don't like change.

Is Mother Nature working her magic in your part of the world?

Things are starting to change here in NW South Carolina too. We've had wind & rain lately so I'm afraid we won't have the brilliant colors you are having. Thank you for sharing with us!

I posted about this same thing today......sort of. I just want to save these beautiful days somehow and pull them out when we need a bit of cheer. Great photos!

Yes, in MD we are mid-stream in change. I'll be posting lots of lovely pics from that next week.

Your tree is a really bright yellow, what type is it?

Have a warm, wonderful week. TTFN~ Marydon

The colors were gorgeous this year, however, the rain came (for days) exactly at the time the colors had reached their zenith....so the leaves came down WAY TOO FAST! I hardly got any pictures of the foliage...your quilt here is gorgeous! Would love to see a close-up!
