I definitely need to gain some control over laundry and hubby needs to gain control over the yard. It's rained constantly so we haven't had a dry day in weeks. I have no excuse for getting behind on laundry, lol!
Ugh...yes. Piles. Lots of them. For collectors like us, it's both a curse and a blessing, as I'm sure you have plans for EACH item in your cute little wicker basket! Always so much fun to have, so little time! I have a collection upstairs on the chair in my sewing room that looks strangely like yours in this photo! *Ü* XOXO Joni
I sure do! I have a pile of weeds in the wheelbarrow....a pile of fall decor in my office floor that I'm trying to weed through, and a pile of ideas for blogging!
The first day of fall we were driving to WV to take care of my mentally retarded brother while my mother had a procedure to regulate her heartbeat. In the interim, work at home was piling up big time, so yeah...piles of stuff going on but it all worked out. We came home today and tomorrow is Friday so how bad can it be, right? (oh, and my Mom's heart is healthy and steady!) Yay!

We always have piles - but my piles are not as neatly folded as your pretty linens. My daughter had on a Pocahantas dress when she was about 6 (10 years ago) and someone asked her where she got her pretty dress. She answered, "Off the sofa." (That is where our piles of clean laundry go to be folded!)
One woman's story of her little farm and old general store...decorating, yard sales, vintage, trash to treasure, the garden, family, friends, the beagles, the cats and one wonderful, amazing husband- otherwise known as the Fella.

Piles and piles going on here...well, you know.
Love the basket with the vintage sheets and chenille blanket! It reminds me of my Nana Atkins. It must be a Richmond thing.
Ug...don't remind me. :)

Happy first day of Autumn!

Your laundry is piled so nicely. If all your other piles look that nice maybe just leave them for a new decor look.
Enjoy you day.
cute post. i had piles of laundry - but i finished it. piles of dirt and dust on the floor. does that count? off to vaccuum them up.
Piles and piles and piles of stuff! Good luck to each of us.

Happy First Day of Fall!
Okay, your piles are DEFINITELY cuter than SSG's piles.
What a simple yet pretty picture. I can only wish that my "piles" looked this good. Have a great day! Cathy
