Yellow Chenille...
As in yellow chenille bedspread. Do you remember that friend of mine who asked me if I liked aprons? Well, this time she wanted to know if I liked old spreads. I think she's catching on. I was thrilled beyond belief to bring this buttery yellow beauty home. These pictures just don't do it justice.
There was a white one too. I am such a LUCKY girl. And I have the BEST friends!

Beautiful. This reminds me of my grandmothers bed. She always had chenille bedspreads.
I can't remember the last time I saw one of these for real ;-) We used to have them at home back in England. How warm and cozy they are. Yours looks great.
That yellow is beautiful. I found a peach one and a blue one with flowers at an auction. Both are going in my shabby chic room which I hope to reveal soon. Lucky you to have such wonderful friends.
Yellow is yummy in a bedroom. Makes all things look happy on a rainy day.

Love the chenille! Reminds me of my grandfather. I have an old chenille bedspread that he used years ago.

Love this! I found one the other week at a antigue store in my small town. I bought the white one but plan on going back to get the yellow one...they are so pretty!

I've thought of getting some of these soft spreads from my childhood, but fear the animals would make mincemeat of it with their nails.

Ohhhh SSG loves yellow! It has become one of her favorite colors to wear ... and has ALWAYS been one of her favorite colors to drink. Lemon drops are the BEST!
i love those bedspreads. karlie had a beautiful yellow one when she was a little girl. i need to go pull that out of storage don't i?
