Goodwill fabric find...

Old fabric makes me happy. I know you agree. This piece came from Goodwill and was .49. That part makes me really happy.

You can see that someone finished the edges for me. I think it will make a great tablecloth or sit pretty on the foot of my guestroom bed.

Have you found any treasures lately- at Goodwill or anywhere else?

What a lovely piece of fabric! I wouldn't know old from new......

The Salvation Army is usually my treasure box! That and dumpster diving the neighborhoods on bulk trash day (I've found some AMAZING things then!).

Great find at a GREAT price!
I recently found a brand new, tags still on it ($135.00!!!) designer (I don't buy designer and whose name I can't remember now) linen blouse at my Goodwill. Picked that baby up for $2.11. Yes. $2.11! LOVE a steal!

I too love old fabric...worn from washings and use, you imagine where it's been, what tables has it graced, did it witness family gatherings???

I did find some nice things at the Salvation Army yesterday but cannot find any information on them. They are pink Pomerantz round metal canisters, nearly brand new, with clear lids that have shiny silver knobs. I LOVE them. I will post them soon. I only wish I got the deal you did...these cost me $9 for all three.

Have a great day!
Love~

49 cents! Half a dollar! That is the best Goodwill purchase! The color is nice. Congrats on the great find. Good shopping. Dogwood

I went to Salvation Army today, or as I call it 'Salvays'. Didn't find a stinkin' thing. I look for old vintage sheets to make aprons out of, and vintagy dresses, coats and other treasures. Love it sooo much. Half my house is from the garbage can, and it looks pretty good!

Gotta love those "cheap" treasures - you go girl. I love your fabric - it is the "flower basket" pattern isn't it. I'm not a quilter so I'm not for sure. And yes, everything about your country home and farm setting appeals to me - farm life is a beautiful way of life. Blessings, Cathy

You find such great things! I just realized that I "replied" to your comment thinking it was an email and it went to "no-reply." Did you get my address? I'm so sorry if you thought I didn't respond. I was very, very excited to have won your giveaway!
