Better late than never...

I am talking about tomatoes. I am talking about tomatoes that I didn't plant. They just popped up in the spot they were in last year. I think I have some sort of new hybrid- somewhere between a regular and grape tomato.

It's late August and we still have maters coming in. I actually have a whole row of beefsteak in the garden that will be ready soon. I was a little late with those. But better late than never.

Speaking of late and never...I know I have not been around too much lately. I'll be back full force soon. I've sort of hit a wall lately- the wall of August heat and the wall of too much going on. Honestly, my creativity has been a little drained too. So, even though you might not see me I am still lurking about.

our best mater plant is a self-seeded one ♥ . this summer has been so hectic for everyone. I wouldn't worry. I have gone to a scheduled posting and that is so --lazy, maybe....I feel so guilty about that......like I have no spontaineous thoughts.

Oh gosh.. tell me about it. Sooo hard to be creative in this humidity and rain and thunderstorms every day. I just want to stay indoors in front of a fan and sip on lemonade.

(Nice maters.)

Love volunteer veggies! It's been an awfully busy August, seems like that for everyone.

I have a hard time blogging everyday. I sure want to, but it's time consuming. We'll wait for you. It's worth it.

Those home grown tomatoes are so yummy eaten right off the vine. Isn't it fabulous when plants just volunteer from last year and are healthy and productive. Ummm-love those beefstake ones. Love the smell of tomatoe plants. Just brushing up against them makes the fragance fill the air.

Our tomatoes are finally ripening! We planted on time but this MI weather has not been kind to gardens!

Glad you're back!

Hugs!

How cool is that? We have not had a good tomato summer. They're rotting on the vine. :( I am with you on the August wall, the wall of humidity here. It zaps my creative energy. Today has been just about perfect, though, and I am finally ready for fall!

That is just too funny...leave it to you to get free tomatoes!!

Did you know that eating lots of tomatoes prevents premature aging and wrinkles? I thought you would like that tid bit.
