Tie one on...

Aprons, of course. These are perhaps two of my favorites. I found them at the bottom of a bin at one of my favorite stores- it pays to dig around. Gosh, they always look so beautiful out on the line.

These are extra special because of the stitching. The red one seems especially well worn. And gingham, you can't go wrong with gingham, especially red and green.

I love aprons and tie one on every time I cook and wear it right through meal time. Keeps the splashes off my clothing and has saved so many shirts from stains that don't come out. Plus, they remind me of my grandmother. What's not to love about an apron!

Aprons are really making a comeback. Maybe its the nostalgia or the praticality, either way, I love them.

I want to go shopping with you because you find the greatest stuff. You know how much I love aprons. These are beauties. The embroidery on the green one is called Chicken Scratching and it was quite popular at the time. Love it.

Green hands down. I remember Mother making hand stitches on the fronts of aprons. She probably had the same designs as these ... & those checks. Memories flooding ...

I am starting to get a little apron collection myself. What do you do with yours? Do you have them all display somewhere or are they folded up in a drawer? I'm just not sure what to do with mine and, of course, I'll probably find more over time :)
