I'd thought we'd start the week with a little makeover and a fun find. Gosh, it's been some time since the red spray paint has been out. I stocked up again. It's not fun to run out. I found this old plastic desk organizer for .75 the other week.
My parents had this piece and a pencil holder to match. Dad kept his bills in there in the top of our hall closet. I actually have the original one on my desk at work. I was delighted to find another one. While it was a little warped (like me) I thought it would be a great little makeover project. And voila...
I sort of have my eyes open these days for Fire-King. It's a fun thing to find along with my beloved Pyrex. Here are some adorable plates. Again- .75 for both.

Cute makeover, as always. Your little plats look like saucers for tea cups. Wouldn't it be fun to find the cups to match?!
Our church had a sale this weekend. I got SEVERAL items. I didn't photograph them for my blog, because these items belonged to my church friends and some of them read my blog. :) I didn't want them to know who bought their stuff, lol! (BUT, they had some GOOD stuff!)
Morning! I'm off to a slow start too! I spent part of the weekend crafting and yesterday errands with the hubs. Just a quiet weekend here!

We have something in common. I have the service for 12 of Fire King that my Dad gave my Mom for their first anniversary and they will celebrate their 60th anniversary on Nov. 12. It is the swirl pattern with the gold rims.
And.....Pyrex is my passion, also. I have all colors and patterns and pieces. I love-love-love it all!
