Lazy days of Summer...

BellaMomma called yesterday afternoon to inform me that she was sick of sitting on the front porch. Where had I disappeared to? I'm here, I'm here. It's supposed to be the lazy days of summer but for me, delete the lazy part and insert busy.

Busyness always seems to sneak up on me. This weekend I was busy staying inside out of the heat. Yesterday I was busy laying low, trying to get work done. So, while I get my act together why don't you enjoy a little peace and serenity around the little farm. Sigh.

I really do have some fun stuff to share with all of you soon- maybe as soon as tomorrow. So stay tuned and tell me- what's keeping you busy these days? Please tell me you are enjoying the lazy days of Summer.

I'm still waiting for the lazy days of summer, too. Moving has created A LOT of work to be done. Perhaps they will catch up with me next month. :)

Love the days of summer, but not so lazy.

can not wait to see what you are up to...or what you have been getting at the thrift stores/yard sales with your personal shopping fairy.

I have lost the lazy part of my summer and I want to find it again. Can I go sit with BellaMomma? Or I'll meet her on your front porch and use that charming bench you painted.

I truly am enjoying the lazy days of summer, especially the mornings. I love just staying in my jammies for a few hours after I get up, enjoy a cup of coffee (or two) and surf around on here catching up with blog reads and emails:) I'll be sad when school starts back and I have to get up at 6am M-F to get my dd ready and take her to school. I'll also be happy school starts cos I really like to start getting back in to a routine come the Fall.
Your pictures look so pretty and serene :)
Have a lovely day.
Hugs
Denise

I just found you blog through a friend, and it's delightful! I've been awfully busy myself. Thinking how soon summer will be over and there is some things I simply must do before it is! Lollygag, swim, eat a lot of corn, tomatoes and watermelon, picnics, bikerides. Seems all I've been doing is pulling weeds and doctoring chickens.

I've linked your blog in mine, I hope you don't mind!

Does BellaMomma live close by? Oh yes, the weather has cooled down a bit here. Good if you're wearing a hot boot!
