Another little table...

I know. It's annoying. But, it happened again. Yes, I found another table for a dollar. They seem to just follow me home. This is one is green and metal and I love it. I am not even going to paint it. Shocking, I know.

And it gets better. Those little side pieces open up and a there is a little shelf underneath. I wonder what it was used for. A little desk, maybe?

The pot of flowers on top came from a vendor at a local little flea market held on Saturdays in the county next to us. I loved the old metal pot with the red trim. And the little lady selling them was so adorable and so proud of the flowers she had potted. The piece of pottery above is handmade and will eventually get some flowers or plants too. It came from the same sale as the table. It was less than a dollar.

Happy yardsaling this weekend. And if you aren't headed out to find treasures, well, just have a happy weekend in general. Love and hugs to you all.

Love the table! Love the planters!! Your carport redo is adorable.

I think we should be neighbors. Could you please move next door to me?

Just thought I'd ask. :)

It's an old typing table back when people used typewriters...maybe military issue...circa 1950's.

Okay...this is getting serious. Give up the thrifting fairy and no one gets hurt!!!

Have all the thrift store tables and pillowcases gotten into cahoots and chosen their victims? You and me.

Gotta admit that this one is darn cute. I rather like the color!

I, Dawn Gahan, promise that I will never tire of Bella Della's tables if she, in turn, accepts my addiction to vintage pillowcases.

Enjoy your weekend!

Definitely an old typing table from way back before there were electric typewriters or computer keyboards to peck away at all day. Looks great on the porch! I love little tables too and have to be very careful they don't all follow me home too... They have such personality!

Wow, you are lucky, I'd love to come across tables for that price. I see some sometimes at Goodwill but they usually want at least $15-20 for them!!! Not what I call a bargain.
Have a fun Friday. I'm still waiting for Fall before I go back out yardsaling !

My Granny has a table similar to that. Very, very similar. She used it for her sewing machine.

Great deals as always!

I looked for months for one of these, because I wanted it for my typewriter which I do not intend to give up anytime soon. Finally found one but had to also take the antique typewriter that was on it, it weighed a ton and I thought I would never get it in the house. I like yours with the plant so I'm glad we can still find a use for these cute little tables. (PS most that I saw were $25 here).

I am in love with your blog, your home, your land, your thrift finds! Wow. You have so many great finds. I am a recent spray paint convert myself and just found a couple of cans (.50 for both) at a yardsale so I don't have to borrow my son's anymore. lol

My husband and I were married 6 days before you and we also met online (yes, I read all the way to the beginning of your blog). I am, however, about 10 or 11 years older than you. We still live in an apartment as we decided to start a brand spanking new business the same month we got married. Smart, huh? It's going well. One more year here in this apartment and I have decided to embrace it and make it home. Your blog will certainly help!

If you ever come back to Roanoke, be sure to let me know! We'll go to Happy's Flea Market. :) I could definitely use your lucky thriftiness.

So, one big old comment to say Hi Neighbor!

Super cute! You'll be so proud of me, when I wasn't sweating my face off I managed to spray paint another chair--which means I just have the table left to go. Can't wait to show you guys!

Hi Kim
You have certainly become great at finding bargains. I remember when you first began to blog and I am sure your house is a lot fuller now than it was then! It's fun to watch as you find wonderful treasures to fill it with.
