Today's post is part of Outdoor Wednesday over at A Southern Daydreamer. You should stop by for a visit. I am always excited to discover and explore new blogs. And I am constantly looking for outdoor inspiration these days.
I hope these blooms make you as happy as they make me. What are your favorite summer blooms?

beautiful. i like petunias too. that and double impatiens. they just scream summer. have a great day.
I love the purple blooms, but the white ones are screaming at me to love them!!!
I love the wor Petunia...it is so cute and country.
Have a great hump day darling...you are almost there.
My summer favs are petunias, four o'clocks, and cannas. Oh, yeah, and hollyhocks, oh and snapdragons! It's hard for me to narrow it down, huh?
I love petunias and haven't really found any to plant this year. I like the ones that don't give up in late summer, I guess that would be the tidal waves. Now I will have to find some, yours are so pretty. I have to say my favorites are black and blue salvia (because hummingbirds come to it) and a tie with larkspur because it grows like a weed. Happy Wednesday.
I love hydrangeas but alas I have none. snif snif.

Gorgeous! I'm with Blue Ridge Gal, I too go crazy over hydrangeas. But none in my yard either.
So pretty Kim!
Oh, I do the same thing with petunias. Anticipating the next day's blooms, I deadhead like crazy. I looked earlier this morning to see if you were listed at A Southern Daydreamer, but didn't see you then. I'll look again. Have had saltwater aquarium mishaps all afternoon and now it's thundering and after 5 p.m. and I'm hungry! (All of which has nothing to do with the other...)

I have massive gardens, this is the first year I've added a few petunias to them. The neighbor gal got me started on them ... hers were lovely last year. TTFN ~ Marydon
Such beautiful flowers. I am trying to be patient and not try to pull mine out of the ground! :) I am hoping by the end of summer everything will be big and pretty...oh..well..then comes the heat of Southern California...
You have made me want to try hyrangias! Hmmm...I wonder...

I'm with Spit, I think if I have a little baby lamb at any point in my life I'll name her Petunia.
(I have some in the pots on my front stoop : ) They're lavender and I love them!)
