Kaleidoscope...

These remind me of a kaleidoscope. The leaves are like those tiny little pieces that rattle around inside and change shape as you turn the outside around.

I could just sit and look up at this all day long. Perhaps I'll throw my new (old) quilt down on the ground and take a nap right under there this weekend. Or just daydream for a while.

Hope your weekend is filled with Springtime and sunshine and naps and daydreams and all that the weekend should be.

You take beautiful natural photos. I can see a second career in your path. I really like how you see the world, very vivid and new. Yay for old quilts and daydreaming under God's own canopy!

Kaleidoscope is a good description for these photos. It is hard to think of spreading a blanket on the ground here or even leaves on the trees. Ours are just budding out and was 19 degrees the other day with some snow. Up to 37 this morning though and at least the grass is now green. The mountain slopes are greening up with the white of snow as a contrast it is a beuatiful world.
Love your blog.
God bless,

Nature's canopy. I could stare up at that and fall asleep. I see you're enjoying the outdoors. I don't know what the temperatures are there. But here it is humid. I go outside and get blasted with Robert's sawdust spurting out of his machinery. I'm tiptoeing around trying to avoid falling over things that somehow ultimately end up being decks. I'm just going to stare up at your canopy and wait till it's done, I think.

Great photos !!!
LOVE your snowball bushes. I remember them from my childhood also. Mom had a bush in the front yard. I have one..it's not as pretty as yours. It's still a small bush and maybe that has something to do with it..
Have a great weekend.

I love kaleidoscopes ... I have a special one that everyone knows to handle w/tender care. They used to bring us kids such joy as children, for hours.

A quilt on the ground under the tree, sounds absolutely wonderful to me. Got some extra lemonade?

Wow, those pictures are amazing. Have you ever thought of taking up photography? You should, you're always so good at capturing art through the camera.
