New friend~
I have a wonderful new friend who is just starting out with a cute new blog. You remember those days, right? It's so fun to have new visitors and you are over the moon when you see the comments they have so kindly left. If you have an extra minute today please head on over to say hello to my friend Marcia at Frugalious Living.
The garden~
You saw the small plot of land in yesterday's post that will soon be our garden. Here is what is looked like last year-
We are hoping to get a bit more out of it this year- like something to eat! We had trouble with the critters. This year we will be fencing it in. I must share with you that our adorable neighbor has so generously prepared the garden for us this year. He even put the rows in for us a few days ago. He gets around with a cane but can go anywhere on his tractor. We are blessed to have such kind souls living next door.
Well, that's a bit of this and a bit of that. I hope your day is wonderful. The sunshine is back with us today and it feels so good. And I hear it plans to stay through the weekend.

Gorgeous garden. I wish I had one!
Wishing you much luck with the garden... good fencing is a must in keeping critters out. The deer eat EVERYTHING here so we won't be putting in a garden. waaah

I don't know what to say without the fear of coming off sappy. Oh to hell with it! I was so surprised to see my blog on your page! You are such a sweetheart. That little gesture means so much. I am truly grateful to have "met" you. You have a good soul. Thanks so much for being so kind.

I am getting excited about garden time too!
You're such a sweetie : )
Have a good weekend sunshine!
Hope all goes well with your garden. We even have to fence our small garden in the city because of the critters, mostly rabbits.
Have a wonderful weekend!
What a tranquil spot for a garden!

Spray paint, a new blogger friend, a kind neighbor, and a garden...I believe your life is now complete:)
Have a great weekend!
I think I could read this post over and over. Belladella, you capture so many of the little things that make a perfect day. All those "this and that" mentions really add up to a really beautiful thing.
I'll be hoping for lots of sunshine for you!

I know I am a little late but you will forgive me because there is no one on this earth that knows my struggles more than you my dear friend and forever sister.
I hope you and Fella are having a great weekend.
I have my garden requests: pole beans, cucs...lots, maters, corn, sunflowers, pumpkins, kale, and oh, whatever else you want to throw in there...I heard if you plant certain kinds of flowers around the edges that it helps keep certain bugs out and human hair cuttings sprinkled around will help with the animal problems...I am sure any hair cutting place will gladly donate to the cause.
At last- I have found someone who 'prepares' things to paint like I do: "just rub it with the sleeve of my sweatshirt."
YEA! A like minded person.

LOVE your garden area! Good luck with your growing this year :)
I'm so jealous, that is a nice size garden plot. You could turn it into a potager. Doesn't that sound so Beatrix Potter. I don't have the room or the sun for a veggie garden. Doesn't stop me from planting a few tomatoes each year though. I just can't take defeat! xo, suzy
Where do you find this paint? I've checked Home Depot and Wal Mart and they will have some Rustoleum Satin shades but not Colonial Red. Grrrr...
