Before...
After...
I am working hard on the front porch. I also transformed the rocking chair from it's natural wood finish with a few coats of white.
The wicker rocker might get the same treatment soon.
These are my favorite places to sit. While the little farmhouse is close to the road, it looks out over our neighbors pasture and there is just something about sitting on a front porch rocker.
I hope you have a great weekend. I hope it's red hot (or at least warm and not snowing) and rockin! Happy Easter to all my dear friends!

L.O.V.E. it all...it is so cute!!
Remember the screen door? It needs to be red too, huh?
Have a great weekend and know that I am thinking about you.
you are rockin' that red paint. i love the shelf - perfect for your adorable little front porch. i would love sitting there with a book watching the people pass by. enjoy your weekend.
Wow Kim, it looks great!
How weird is it that I have been working on a little cupboard similiar to yours BUT mine has one self AND I painted it red ALSO??
Get outta my head girlie......... :)
I love love that little raggedy pillow on the rocker - looks awesome!
I wanna come over for a lazy Sunday and some ice tea:)
Have a great Easter
I really like what you've done with your porch, and the red shelves are very bright and pretty!
Ok, SSG just figured out it is Easter THIS weekend. GAH! I thought it was next Sunday. Oopsie : )
I'll have to call Predo and ask what we're doing!
(Love, love, love the red! And totally agree on the rocker.)
Hon, you have just put my favorite color combination together. Well...I sometimes like blue and white together too, I shall confess. That barn red color is one I've gone to again and again for decorating over the years. I even have a bunch of cans of that spray paint hoarded for when I come across a new "born to be red" piece! Happy Easter to you as well.

I love your porch how relaxing to sit and rock!
Happy Easter to you too!
Can I come over for some sweet tea?

What brand of paint do you use? The bookshelf looks beautiful!
Fabulous!
Have a great Easter weekend!
Hugs,

Bella,
Your porch is so inviting! Did you spray your rocker or hand paint it? I wish you a Happy Easter and a great long weekend!
Marcia
Those look awesome!! Have a happy Easter:)
Your front porch looks like the perfect place to sit for a spell. The red paint makeovers are lookin' good too! xo, suzy
Love it! Do you have to prep much using the red spray paint? I love that shade. My front door currently is more of a purple-y red. I need to update it and love that shade!
Beautiful colors!
I love your red shelf! I wonder if you would post to let us know what brand and color that paint is? Because I love your choice.
I'd love to do something nice on our porch. but, unfortunately, I have to worry that if we put anything nice out there, someone might steal it. It's not that we are really in a bad neighborhood or anything - it's just that our front porch is EXTREMELY visible to everybody who drives up our street, and you just never know nowadays. Makes me wish for the good old days when you didn't have to worry about stuff like that so much.
your porch is looking very cozy and inviting!
but with all the spraying you're doing--don't ever buy a can of the "fake tan-in-a-bottle"...oh, that could get bad..
:)
have a great easter weekend.

A round of applause for the red shelf, and a very Happy Easter to you and the Mr.
Love,
Dawn
Love the red! I am doing the same around my house but my cab is grey! I was just adding another coat this morning to a shelf and searching for more to paint :)
Happy Easter!!!!
