This one has a divider and is perfect for serving cucumbers on one side and fresh sliced tomatoes on the other. Trust me, I know.
When I went to rescue the aprons last week there was a lonely yellow bowl perched on the kitchen counter. I quickly spied that it was indeed Pyrex and of course asked about it. Turns out no one wanted it. What??? It also turns out that it is very photogenic. Can you believe the lid has survived? I've never seen this pattern before.
Do you have any old Pyrex in your kitchen? If you don't, you should.

I would love to visit you and walk through your house. What wonderful finds. Those Pyrex covered casseroles were my favorite wedding gift, and we used them until they all broke. We had 3. Mine weren't as pretty as the yellow.
I LOVE PYREX!!! they are so fun to have and use. if the rain holds up for the day, i am heading to a flea market saturday afternoon, hoping to find some more to add to my collection.
No, but I am working on a pretty decent sized collection of Tupperware from the late 1960's/early 70's.
I will definitely be on the look out for some Pyrex.
Love yours though and they are really photogenic!
Love the yellow Pyrex... and a lid also... how nice!

I also have that one that's divided...and I love it. It gets the most use at the holidays, corn in one side, beans in the other! But thanks for the new idea...we love cukes and maters!

Don't you love that the simplest of things make us happy? Wouldn't trade that for the world.

Yes, I love Pyrex. In fact, I have the sunflower bowls, although my lids are clear glass ~ and the flowers are very faded. Probably because 40 years ago the set of three bowls was one of our wedding presents.
I DO have old Pyrex in my kitchen! I love it! I really, really LOVE the yellow one you adopted! Oh my it is so CHEERY!
HAve a wonderful weekend!!!!
Hugs!

I love it too. I've never purchased any though. It's always very pricy in antique shops around here. Those are some great finds!
I have Pyrex envy! My husband does not enjoy the vintage Pyrex as much as I do so my collection is slightly limited. But you may have inspired me to do some yard sale searching this weekend.
How is it I never found your blog before? I wouldn't have found it today, except Brenda (View From the Pines) sent me here, and I'm glad she did!
You love all the things I do, and yes, I've got old pyrex. My fav is the set of bowls circa 1940; big yellow one, then they get smaller in red, blue, and green. I'm missing green, always on the lookout for it! Oh, and a few of those old coffee pots, circa 1950's that I couldn't resist!
LOVE pyrex! You are right, everyone should have some.
Hi,
I have some fire king with the pink flowers on it and love them!
I looked at the post from the other day and LOVE the flowered glasses...that is one of my favorite things to collect...old glasses with flowers.
I'm a vintage gal!

Does SSG count as vintage if she's standing in her kitchen?
You are one lucky duck lately, finding all these great things.
The pyrex are wonderful. Love the bright colors of the yellow one. But the flower dish is so cute.
Have a great day.

Who wouldn't want that gorgeous shade of yellow Pyrex bowl? I know I have a pie plate in there, blue and white, that is Pyrex. Picked it up at a yard sale years ago. I make cornbread in it!
Brenda
Yes I do but I didn't know it was old. It was new at my bridal shower. What does that tell you? :).
