The porch comes to life...

It's time to build the porch again. For those of you that were not around this time last year I have a carport that is transformed into a porch as soon as the weather allows. Yesterday, the warm temps gave me permission to start construction.

It started with my Craigslist wicker loveseat, two of those comfy plastic adirondack chairs, and an old rug from the living room. I found that little table in the attic when we moved in. I added the glass top.

Flower pots waiting for Spring blooms...

Then I added a new red table...

You have the budget for a new table and chairs you ask? Well, it used to look like this...

Are you ready to come on over and sit and relax on the carport, um I mean porch?

I promise to share more as it all comes together.

Lovely! I am all about porches. When I look at houses the first thing I check is if it has "good porch."

LOVE it!! I love anything that has a double use and your car port/porch is a great idea. Perfect use in different season.
I will live vicariously through you and your porch pics.;)

Looks like a lovely place to spend a lazy afternoon! :) I am beginning to wonder if we will ever be able to bring our patio furniture outdoors!

I really love your new table and chairs! Like someone said up above, they would look nice with cushions too! I'd love to have tea out on that porch!
I can't wait to see what you do next!

It's still cold here, I can't hardly wait until it warms up!
