Goodbye Winter...

You were beautiful and magical. You put on quite a show for us right at the end. I must admit I had my doubts. I am not sad to see you go; your sister Spring is always a welcomed delight. I promise that the typical Virginia Summer will soon make me miss you terribly. I will close my eyes and think of cold blue skies and icicles and snowflakes gathered on my windowsill.

Goodbye old friend.

I have to say, there is no part of me that want this winter to linger. After the terrible ice storm, I've never been so happy to season go!

Lovely pictures!

WOOHOO...Goodbye! Today is a lovely 62 degrees! No snow in sight! But of course this is just temporary and we will be back to the 30's and 40's next week :( I was a good doggy mommy though and took them outside to run around a bit.

You make icicles look like something I want around 365 days a year. Beautiful photographs.
