Several weeks ago we met a kitty named Priscilla at our local Petco. It was love at first site but common sense carried us home without her. When we were out on Saturday we decided to stop by again. She was gone.
We went to Petsmart and visited with a 17 pound beauty named Baby Phat but it was not meant to be. After one look at BellaFella's sad eyes we headed back across town to another Petsmart just to take a look.
On the way there he called BellaMomma to tell her about Prissy- we had already nicknamed her. While we were visiting with the kitties in the third store of the day BellaMomma called back to tell us she had tracked down Priss at the Richmond SPCA and we had two hours to get there before they closed.
After discovering that I do not know how to get around this city at all and digging up four quarters we landed at the SPCA parking lot at 5pm. A date with destiny. We tracked down Miss Priss and I guess the rest will be history.
Here is Priss and the BellaFella preparing adoption papers at the SPCA...
She walked into the little farm Saturday night and it seems she has been there all her life. She cuddles, she plays, she sleeps and she is happy as can be. Welcome Miss. Priss. And you are welcome BellaFella. I can't say no to him.
Isn't she a beauty? And aren't we crazy?

Not a cat person... but she is very very pretty.. and kudos to you for adopting. Pet stores are a rip off and so much better to save a life. You and Bellafella will be rewarded ten times over for this.

She is a cutie!! Now you did a dog to liven things up!! ha ha
Have a great day!!
She is absolutely beautiful! I don't think you are crazy at all. I've been thinking about adding a third cat to our home, giving us six pets altogether. The photo with your husband and her on the desk is just adorable. Love it!
Six cats! That's impressive. You are both such wonderful people to save these beauties - everyone should adopt a pet!!
I LOVE a story with a happy ending:) The love in BellaFella's eyes is heartwarming! No wonder you couldn't tell him "NO"!!! Prissy is a beauty.
The birthday spankings? They commenced on Friday. Just sayin'!!!
Miss Priss is a beauty! I love a cuddly kitty!
Have a wonderful day with all your fur babies!!!
Hugs!

I love how happy everyone looks and that Bella Mama is a match maker! Too cute : )
Interview questions will be coming soon! Check your e-mail in a bit.
Happy Monday!
Aww, she is pretty! You are not crazy. I have 3 cats and 2 dogs. My Mom and Dad have 3 indoor and 3 outdoor cats. We LOVE cats around here (except when they pee on the floor:)
OMG!!! What a great story and that WAS meant to be...she is adorable and I love the photo where she is looking at the computer screen...could she be a blogger, maybe?
Woo hoo...I am so excited! That is great news and Welcome to the fam, Miss Priss...you got a great one!
Love ya,
Marlene
well know you have an even number in your family. she is very pretty. did all the other cats welcome her?
She looks like a sweetie. I didn't know the fella was an old softie?
guess who made a blog now.....
yay for you! Her name is fabulous!
Oh, the strings of my heart are being played like a harp! HOW SWEET IS SHE!!! You are exactly why Jimmy bans me from ever going to those places! I would have 67 cats and 98 dogs and a 3 legged goat and 2 storks and a blind monkey and........
Awesome story and how wonderful BellaMomma is! Love the pics!
if only my house was a bit bigger...i don't think i could survive the transition from two large golden retrievers to two large golden retrievers + one cat....but pictures like this make me want to :)
She's a beauty! I'm glad she is fitting in. Your mad dash to the SPCA before they closed is so similar to when we adopted our yellow Lab rescue Sawyer. He was being transferred to a shelter where he would have little time left the next day if we didn't get there in time. Whew!! We're as crazy as you are.....or BellaFella :) Your orange and white on the couch looks just like our Winston.
She really is a beauty. I'm happy to know bellafella got Miss Priss and to know that she now has her forever home.
She is perfect! What a darling little lady!!
