Working hard or hardly working?

I am back at work today.

I use that whole sentence very loosely- I think half of me is still at home and there isn't much work getting done.

The only e-mail waiting for me this morning was from Sheldon in maintenance telling me about the new light bulbs installed above our copier. No wonder I needed sunglasses in there. I just thought I was adjusting to life in the fluorescent work world again. Sheldon had a nice Christmas by the way.

Also, despite my holiday blogging I have apparently forgotten how to type. I can't do basic math or spell my name. And what day is it? And don't even get me started on guessing what my passwords are.

How long have I been gone anyway? Apparently not long enough. It's a good thing that upon my arrival I was greeted with the news that we are closed until January 5th. Whew. It's been a long week.

Would you believe this is the building that I work in? It is. I was searching for a photo to go with this post and this is what I found. I guess this is deserving of future posts. I promise to share soon. After I take some much deserved time off!

I am so glad you are feeling better...holidays + icky = no fun.

I know that building!!! I have seen it many times, but I do not know it personally.

I am looking forward to seeing all the pictures you took over the holidays...so yes, there is work to be done.

Enjoy your break from work...did you find me that position I have been wanting at your firm? LOL...still so bored. :( I swear, I will relocate.

I miss you so and was so happy when you popped up on the blogging radar.

What are the plans for New Year's? Cuddling with the Fella, I presume? HWM has to work, so this will be the very first year we will not have spent the night together.

Love ya,

Marlene

Going back to work after a long break is tough. I remember those days well. Now I'm the one home all the time and the kids and my hubbs are the ones that take their vacations...I know I'll sound bad, but I'm so glad when they get back to the regular routine and I get to clean my house again...lol!
I hope your holidays were great. I've been out of touch for a bit, but now I'm out and about catching up.
Hugs!

Oh, Honey! You must be exhausted!!! It's a shame how those slave-drivers beat you down:/

Do you feel like a princess when you pull into the parking lot each morning??? That building is SO beautiful:)

We need to make our dinner plans soon. It's been almost three weeks since I had lunch with Carmen:(

Yay! I'm so glad you're feeling better! And I LOVE that building! And DUDE, it sounds like you've got Sheldon at work ; ) I just remember that scene from When Harry Met Sally and Sally is talking about dating a guy named Sheldon. Harry says ... well never mind what Harry says, I know yo mama reads this blog : )

Ohmahgah! Visiting museums with you and the VA ladies would be so fun! I may have to think my travel plans and drag Predo along!

Glad you're feeling better. What a great old building. Is it a courthouse?

Hello SSG - Yo Mamma knows all about what Harry Says...where do you think he got his line from...Yo Mamma of course. LOL. By the way, a little about BellaMamma...my hubby and kids tell me that I don't find it funny unless it is perverted. Not bad perverted just everyday perverted. Everybody needs a good laugh and I can't help if I have a warped since of humour. Still want to be adopted? You to Marlene:>). I am just a cool, hip and fun loving Mom, who at the moment has been sick going on 2 weeks. SCREAM!!!!!!! I didn't give it to Belladaughter. She got it from her Dad, who got it from me, so therefore he gave it to her, not me...case settled...your dad gave it to you. HEHE!!!

Love To You All,
Yo Mama (BellaMomma)

oops - I had lost some of my old fav's when our computer back up didn't work and am finally finding some I haven't visited in awhile. So glad to reconnect, and no, I can't believe that is the building that you work in...wow. Eye candy, I tell you. :)

I see what you got done at work ... file this post. Ha Ha!

That building is familiar, but I can't place it. Any clues?
