Tree Hugger

Okay, I am just going to say it. I love my tree.

I love it so much I never want to take it down. I love it so much I wish I could give it a giant hug. And I do mean giant- I think the butterball would require at least two people to reach all the way around. So, all of you must suffer through a bunch of tree pictures today. These are also for BellaMomma since yesterday's post forced her to turn upside down to try and get a good view.

I'd also like to share that we use white LED lights on our tree. They often appear blue- like those awful headlights you see on new cars. It's taken me quite a while to get accustomed to them. But I have to tell you they are great- they never ever get hot like the old kind and are supposed to use a lot less energy.

Speaking of lights, BellaFella and I put the lights up outside last night and I am happy to report that we are still married. Actually we had a lot of fun. More on that later.

I wish I had the room for a big old tree like that. Well and also since i will be in Texas from the 17-31 Dec it is silly to get a live tree. I do love the decorations. I have made the choice to go back to a more folksy style next year.

Your tree looks great.

It was nice of you to help the fella with the outdoor lighting. I've never had that.

Oh, and by the way, the "Boys" are killing me too, especially after Sunday's debacle. But Atlanta ... you've got to be kidding.

You've sealed the deal for me... a fresh tree next year for sure. Your tree is beautiful!

I hope you know I was only kidding on the Atl. thing. They are having great season and are on my watch list. They just don't seem to be on the networks around here.

You're a great wife for going to the game. (I'm sure it's not too much of struggle for you. I know you have fun.)

BHE and I have contemplated on going to Texas for a game, but have yet to commit ... maybe one day.

After that hug, you need some cuddle time! Do you think the tree knew how much love it would get? What a beauty!
