Let it snow...

Saturday night brought snow to the little farm. The flakes starting falling shortly after dark and only lasted for several hours. However, it was the perfect ending to my tree decorating day.

Sunday morning revealed blue skies and a beautiful dusting. I wish the flakes had kept falling but this was enough to truly put me in the Christmas spirit.

Hopefully there will be more to come. We have not a had a huge snow in this part of Virginia in years. I am asking Santa for a white Christmas. Please let it snow.

So beautiful! I love snow ... but only when I'm skiing ... or inside with no need to be anywhere and a big mug of hot cocoa. Am home AGAIN today! Waaaa Haaaa Haaaa!

Lucky duck! All we got was a thick rain....gross!

I'm not a big fan of snow, but I WOULD like to have a white Christmas this year. It's been WAY to long...

I wish you a wonderful snow filled Christmas!

Also, your pictures are always so wonderful and your handiwork around the place is amazing. I swear if your photo's were in black and white, it would feel like a hundred years ago! I am soooo jealous! :-)

It really does look beautiful, but I'm so glad I don't have to live in snow...I'd never make it. I'm such a warm blood. lol!

They're all magic but especially the ones looking out the window. Somehow I thought that Virginia was a snowy place. You can have some of mine if you wish.

Like BHE said, we only got some rain with a few flakes mixed in.

You're right, we are due for some snow this year. I figure it's been about 7 years since we had good one. I can't remember the last time it snowed on Christmas.

Beautiful pictures...we're supposed to get another snow storm here in Wisconsin tonight and tomorrow. I wish it would happen on the weekend because I just dread driving to work in it!

Can't wait to see your tree all decorated! It looks beautiful tho!
