Christmas perspective...

There are some things that you just never get too big for...

...slumber parties in front of the Christmas tree.

I will spend many evenings perched on the couch enjoying my tree and all the trimmings but this way is the best. It's like laying in your yard on a summer night staring at the stars- you are reminded how small you are.

how cool. great perspective. i love just the tree lights (and the tv) on at night. it's just so pretty and peaceful. probably one of my favorite things about the season. your living room looks like mine. we always have blankets laying all over - either for us or the dogs.

ahhh...to be a kid again! I'm a blankie girl too...have one around every chair for me to curl up with! Got a stack in the corner for the visitors too, our house is chilly!

I want get a big cup of hot coco, turn off all the lights except for the ones on the tree, curl up on the couch there and just stare at the tree! (your right, somethings just can't be grown out of!).

I love your tree! It is really quite perfect in that room. Having said that, I think I want one in my bedroom now too! I could lay in bed and stare at it, or wake up in the middle of the night and stare at it, or dream about doing that!!! Ahhhhhhh, nice.

I remember lying under our tree as a kid and falling asleep watching all the blinking, colored lights. Thanks for bringing that memory back to me.

I like to turn my tree lights on first thing in the morning when the house is silent. I can get my coffee, and just sit and stare at it until the "house" wakes up:)

We love to sit and watch the Christmas tree lights at night too. I used to lay under the tree when I was little to watch all the lights in their finest.

I agree! I love sitting in front of my tree just looking at all the sparkle!

I know, there is nothing better than just stopping for a second and savoring the moment. Especially if there is a blankie and hot bevie involved ; )

Your tree is beautiful. I particularly love the comparison to the night sky and all the stars. We are so fortunate to be away from all the "bright lights" of the urban areas so that we can actually see and revel in the beauty that is the night sky.

Oh that reminds me of when I was little and I would stuff myself up under the tree and stare at it and inhale that magical fragrance :) I love your butterball tree! Thanks for sharing with me about the land of Communications. I am so excited!
