Hello Monday...

Hello desk. Hello November. The weekends just fly by, don't they? And the months too. It was a quiet weekend at the little farm. We had dinner on Saturday at Cracker Barrel with Mom, Dad and little brother. We followed that up with a little shopping and some Starbucks. But believe it or not I was not really in a shopping mood, neither was the bella fella.

Sunday was a mix of napping and football and well, a little snacking. This is a typical Sunday for us until the new year. You won't catch me complaining though. I find them perfect this way.

As always I am adjusting to the time change. It's like jet lag or something. It will really hit me tonight when I am driving home in the dark. I sort of like it though. It's fun pulling up to the place with the lights on at the old store.

Yesterday afternoon I took a wonderful walk around our place to try to capture some of the beautiful leaves. I will share these with you throughout the week, starting today of course.

In the first two pictures I am standing at the very back edge of our property. Our house and store sit on the very front, very close to the road. We'd like to build a house one day on this back part...

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and I send lots of love as we all embark on a beautiful November week. Hello Monday.

I am so glad you had a relaxing weekend.

The photos are gorgeous and the color in the leaves...AMAZING~

I miss that part of Virginia. I really do not get to see the seasons change because there are no falling leaves on the bay, only evergreens.

Hello November!

Love ya,

Marlene

Lovin' the photos! Is that a little well (or pump) house in the fourth picture? The star really makes it stand out, but my favorite part is the little water spigot. My grandparents had one in their back yard. We used to drink from it on those hot summer days....the water was like ice when it emerged:)

I love the changing colors of the leaves! They just add such pretty color to the landscape. And what a wonderful lay of the land you have there.

Yay! Wade, ahem Predo, visited your blog! Lucky girl. Love the trees! I don't remember receiving my invitation to Cracker Barrel! I always hear about this place and have yet to be to one. It will definitely be on my list for an east coast adventure!
