Falling...

Falling...asleep.
My husband and I took a day-trip yesterday that required a 3am wake-up call and 4am departure. We returned at midnight last night. I will tell you more about our trip later this week. But needless to say I am falling asleep at my desk. Yawn. Sigh. Coffee.

Falling...temperatures.
This is more of a request than a weather report. Okay, so it's a little Fall-like here today- crisp blue sky, etc. However, 80's are still here. In the stadium (hint) yesterday you could have fried an egg on my brunette head. Too hot. Please bring me 65, my boots and sweaters beg you.

Falling...acorns.
Yep, as I predicted they are falling everywhere, thousands of them. Plop, thud, boink, roll, ping. I love those sounds. As I struggled to get up this morning and hit snooze over and over I could here all of that on the roof- signs to stay in bed. Hey, it's dangerous out there!

Falling...behind.
I work in the association world. Some of you might be familiar with this monster, some of you may not. Well, in two weeks we have our annual state convention that brings together our membership. So, I am swamped and unfortunately falling behind in my beloved blogging world. Please be patient with me. I will try to post each day but my ability to travel around to all of your beautiful pieces of the world might be limited. However, I will be back with a vengeance after October 15.

FALLing...in love...
I always forget how much I love this time of year and each new Autumn I fall in love all over again. Unfortunately, I don't have an abundance of beautiful Fall decorations like all of you do, but I have added a few mums and pumpkins around the little farm. Again, I will be back at this full-force after my work is done.

Happy Monday to all of you...until tomorrow.
Hugs,
Kim

Your porch looks lovely. I don't have a lot of decorations either but I try to do what I can with what I have!

Love your fall decor Kim! I don't have a lot but any little bit is still ok with me. I just love looking at everyone else and get ideas of maybe some of this for next year.

Have a good day!

I am right there with you. I barely have enough time to find my sanity in the morning. Of course we will all be patient and still and always will love you.

Love the decor though.

WAKE UP KIM!!! Wanna come over for Diet Coke and chocolate? They always help me get through a sleepy day at work!

When acorns hit the shed roof at my house, they sound like gunshots going off.

I'm falling asleep too from our busy weekend (which I still need to blog about). Can't wait to hear where you went! Some football game, I am guessing.

Thank you so much for the sweet mail! The paper is soooo pretty! I was sooo excited when hubby handed it to me! A note from the other Kim V I told him! :-D

Have a great day!!!
Hugs!

Your porch looks great! I love your mums. I just bought some and am hoping that they last longer than they did last year, when they died after a week. A gardener I am not.
