Long weekend...

I decided to take today off and make it a really long weekend. Today I am headed to Busch Gardens Williamsburg with my adorable, roller coaster lovin' hubby. BG is a beautiful amusement park with amazing landscaping and fun rides. I think it has been voted the most beautiful theme park in the world for close to 20 years in a row. They also have amazing food and fun little shops and fun shows. Have any of you guys ever been? It's one of our favorite places. Here are some photos we took in 2007...

After today I have big plans to do NOTHING for the rest of the weekend and by nothing I mean sleeping in a little, cooking, cleaning, moving things around, hanging pictures, maybe some painting projects. You know, fun nesting stuff. I love those days when you don't have any plans and you can just move at your own pace and get into whatever trouble you like.

So, I am off to get ready to ride some coasters and eats lots of good food. I'll be back in BlogLand tomorrow. I will get caught up on all your amazing blogs tomorrow and promise some good stuff when I get back. I hope everyone's weekend is getting started early.

It's been more than 20 years since I have been to Busch Gardens! My sister worked there when she was in high school, so we used to get free passes from her. Back then, they didn't have the summer pass option - you had to pay the full amount every time you went :(

Hope you had a wonderful time, and didn't get too wet.

"See" ya next week.

I love Williamsburg! We were there 3 years ago during a heat wave in the middle of July. I must admit that the heat made it hard to enjoy the day we spent at Busch Gardens, but it did seem nice as amusement parks go. I'd love to go back to Williamsburg someday! Are you very close?
