From sun-up to sundown....

I guess I've taken a little unintended blogger break over the weekend. What weekend- I ask myself. It amazes me how much I look forward to them and in the blink of an eye it's Monday morning again.

I spent Saturday relaxing and doing some chores and spent the afternoon with mom. We found a new little thrift store up the road and one very expensive antique store. You know which one we prefer. Dad met us at the house to drop off some old treasures that were found when they cleaned out their shed last weekend. I will show you more of that this coming week. I will also share a few ideas we have for the old store.

Today was spent with family. First, lunch and shopping with my adorable husband and then we met up with my parents for my cousin's birthday. We took the scenic route home and stopped at the local farmer's market and now at almost 8:30pm- I am perfectly ready for bed.

So, no matter what, the weekend always come to an end. You can never slow it down, especially the good ones- like this one. As I watch the beautiful sunset out the window I will share with you how the day started...

I hope from sun-up to sundown everyone has had a full and wonderful weekend. It's bedtime for this gal. Goodnight and sweet dreams. 'Til tomorrow...

So lovely and peaceful! Can't wait to see what you have in "store" for the store ; ) And sometimes a little breather is GOOD! I will miss you guys when I'm gone too! But you will be sick of France, France, France talk upon my return!

Beautiful photos!!

We had a pink/purple sky Saturday evening. It was awesome:)

My weekend was perfect. The only time I left the house was to go to church yesterday morning! I'd like to have a whole week to just stay at home.......

What a stunning sunset. Sunsets are rarer here because of so many cloudy evenings. Recently though we have had a few that leaves us watching them until they fade into night. Beautiful

beautiful photos. somewhere on my trip to the cabin, i spotted a little abandoned store like yours and thought of you. had i not been traveling about 65mph, i would have taken a picture of it. i really need to slow down and enjoy my surroundings.
