I wanted to share with you all my two favorite finds from my Goodwill trip earlier in the week. I found both of these after my mom arrived. In fact, she bought the painting for me. It's hanging in my bedroom and I am absolutely in love with it. I think you will like it too. I have a feeling someone must be missing it. I often wonder how things end up in these thrift stores.
Mom and I also spotted this bench. I had no room whatsoever for it when I brought it home. Yes, I know I have an entire empty store but I wanted it inside with me. So, much to my husband's dismay I have moved yet another room around and the bench is now serving time at my kitchen table. My cats think I brought it home just for them- that's Gracie- aka Princess on the table and Mo- aka MoMo underneath. Isn't it pretty? I just love the fruit detail. I think it's probably from the 70's. I picture it living in an orange or olive kitchen in it's hayday.

cute things. ok, you inspired me to hit the new goodwill store by me. well, no luck for me. maybe it was just too crowded and i didn't feel like battling all the people. i am going to try back some other time when it's not so crowded. hopefully i will have better luck then. you got such cute stuff there.
