Party 'til the cows come home...

This weekend has been a true whirlwind. I left on Thursday afternoon for a work event and did not get home until Saturday afternoon. Our retreat was a blast and I had an awesome time with my colleagues and laughed until my stomach hurt. Yesterday I visited with one of my colleagues on the way home and was treated to some special vintage treats that I will show you in future posts. I came home with my car loaded full of old chairs, linens, flower pots, baskets, and a few other treasures. I am so lucky! Today was spent with my husband resting up after all the late night parties on Thursday and Friday. Well, while walking through my living room a little while ago I spied some old friends...

The cows are home! Well, back in the pasture in front of my house anyway. My neighbor across the road (and former owner of my home) rotates his cattle and they've been gone since the spring- out in the back pasture. I could only hear them. You know, it's the little things that make you happy! Hope all of you had a fun weekend! I am glad to be back.

Hi Kim
Seeing thpicture of the cows reminds me of when we lived inthe country manyyears ago. THe famrew across the road had cows and every once in awhile they would get out and be wandering up our driveway. It was always fun helping him round them up and get them back home!
Can't wait to see all the goodies you got.
