August Eve...

It's been a wonderful family night full of food and laughter. I thought since it's late and I am sleepy that I would just leave you with a few peaceful images of the farm and store. I noticed tonight that the lightening bugs are mostly gone. The sky is starting to change. Tomorrow is the first day of August. It's so hard to believe. Another summer heading into twilight. My first summer on the little farm...

Wow, just came across your blog from Laurie's at Magpie Ethel, and I just love it! I want to live at the poor house and work in the store! No fair! I have a little general store too. Your house is the kind you see in movies and dream about living in. Awesome! Can't wait to share with my friends! :)

How lovely! And WHY can't we get lightening bugs on the West coast? I feel somewhat deprived. I'll volunteer to work in your little store too. Love that old gas pump!

What beautiful pictures! I could have lingered in them for days :) I miss the country so badly. Thank you for taking me away for a few.

I just came across your blog and have been reading and reading! I'm so enjoying it! Absolutely LOVE the pics of your little farm - inside and out and the land around! Do you have any plans in the future for the little store?

Looking forward to continued visits here.
